ELTHAM 3095 Victoria Australia
Son of WWII Pilot. RAAF Flt Lieutenant A.F.Lane (Serial No: 409150). Father flew two marks of Hurricanes (MK1 & 2) from mid 1942, four marks of Spitfire (V, VB, VC, IX) from late 1942 to September 1944 and Mustangs (Mk3 (C) & 4 (D) January to August 1945. I will chase some of the early Spitfire flown later but can provide some detail around MH444.
